Lottery Information

Lottery is  CLOSED 

 

The lottery is used for students who plan to attend King Tech High School Full-Time. 

New this year: the lottery waitlist will be reset each year. Students who were previously on a waitlist will need to reapply for the next school year to be considered for a seat in a lottery program or a school other than their designated neighborhood school.

Spring Lottery Timeline

• Lottery opens: February 1, 2026
• Lottery closes: March 31, 2026 at 5 p.m.
• Family notifications: April 7, 2026 beginning at 4 p.m.

2026 Fall Lottery Dates

The 2026 fall lottery dates are as follows:

• April 10, 2026 – Lottery opens for parents/guardians to submit applications for the 2026-2027 school year

• July 12, 2026, at 5pm – Lottery closes for applications

• July 21, 2026, at 12pm – Lottery runs

• July 27, 2026, at 4pm – Parents/guardians notifications of results are released

What is the Lottery?

The ASD lottery is an online, randomized application process that provides equitable access for students to attend a school other than their designated neighborhood school or any program in the school district based on available space.

King Tech High School Part-Time enrollment must go through your current school counselor.
